In the past I’ve been one of the clever who resolve to not make any resolutions, but after thinking about it some, resolutions can be a good thing. Everyone has things that they would like to change in their lives. Lose weight, exercise more, save more money, give more to charity, write a book, get a (new) job, get better grades. Perhaps the difficult part is not being overwhelmed by all the things you’d like to change. Just pick just a couple of important ones to work on.
Why wait until New Year’s Day to make a resolution? Well, it’s not that you have to wait until then, but rather that the day is the tipping point. What have you been waiting on? Why not resolve now to change. It’s accepted practice, and you can tell people about it. That’s not a bad thing. If it’s personal, you don’t have to publish it on the Internet, but your friends can help you. Telling people makes it difficult to just brush it aside.
I don’t think life is meant to be a series of events that happen to you. Life is meant to be lived. Decide to change something for the better and do it.

Ooh a marathon. I'm not a great runner, but the website makes it sound awesome. Maybe a half wouldn't be bad...
For making t-shirts, I've used Cafe Press and I like it. Lately, I've heard some good things about Spreadshirt.
Lance, Good luck training for the marathon. My husband and I got into triathlons 2 seasons ago and got addicted. We are going for a 1/2 Iron this year, which includes a half marathon, so we'll be training in a more intense way now.
And, tot, good luck with your 5k. It is an accomplishment too!
Thanks for the mention of Spreadshirt. We are proud of our quality, which uses different technology to produce long lasting shirts... makes a big difference with all the washing from training! :-)
Best of luck!
Jana
Go, Lance!
I'd join you, but I don't know if I could make it...

Also, do you know anything about blaze media center pro?
Matt, I haven't heard of Blaze Media Center Pro, but I saw Any Video Converter on Life Hacker a little while ago and it looks like it does pretty much the same thing. It is free.
thanks, Lance. I'll give it a try.
basically, I'm looking for a tool that will allow me to extract the audio content out of my music dvd's (u2, foo fighters, p.o.d., linkin park, pillar) and save the audio content from each of the "chapters" to my hard drive as *.wma or *.mp3 files. Do you know of anything that would allow me to do that?
my email is nofear (underscore) noshame (at) yahoo (dot) com
anyways, I went ahead and ended up going with a 25ft s-video cable from best buy and a s-video but repeater at radio shack... that plus one of the other cables that I've got already should work
Dude...I'm so there (unless I'm in another country or something) even if it's just to hand you a blanket and a cup of yogurt at the finish line.
